Changes in CarbonOne store

Taking advantage of the Christmas break, I finally reorganized the Blackcatwheels.ch blog and the CarbonOne.pl store.

CarbonOne has now become a true online shop, where you can find my full wheelset range, not only CarbonOne wheels, but also custom built wheelsets that I create individually to order.

In addition, you’ll find most of the components I use for wheelbuilding, including rims, hubs, spokes, nipples, as well as detailed information about my services and wheelbuilding classes.

I’ve had this change in mind for a long time. The blackcatwheels.ch blog was created many years ago and, in reality, it was never a true online store in the full sense of the word.

CarbonOne.pl, on the other hand, was initially meant to serve only one specific project – wheelsets built with carbon spokes. However, it felt like a waste to use a fully developed e-commerce system for such a limited range of products.

After giving it some thought, the decision was made, and now you can find my complete portfolio here in one place. 

CarbonOne wheels remain in the same place

CarbonOne wheelsets are still available in the “Road Wheels” and “Gravel Wheels” categories.

Custom projects — now in one place

Individual builds can now be found under the “Custom Wheels” section.

I will be gradually adding completed projects there. This is my response to the many questions you’ve asked about examples of my work.

Each build will include a short description, key characteristics, weight, and pricing. I hope this will give you inspiration and help you imagine what your own future wheelset could look like.

 

Components: rims, hubs, and spokes

In the “Rims, Hubs, Spokes” section, you’ll find most of the components I use in my builds.

Use the subcategories “Road”, “Gravel”, and “MTB” to filter products more easily.

As for brands, you’ll find both my own BC-labelled components, as well as Duke, MCFK, Schmolke, Bitex, Acros, CarbonTi, DT Swiss, Erase, Extralite, NonPlus, Industry9, Onyx, Tune, and many more.

All components include up-to-date stock information.

Items in stock are shipped almost immediately. Other products are available on request, with an average lead time of around 5 business days.

I offer a very broad spoke assortment, especially Sapim. Spokes are cut using Cyclus and Kowa rolling machines in 1 mm increments, so you can confidently order odd lengths without any problem.

On request, I also import BERD spokes and carbon spokes.

You’ll also find details about my wheelbuilding training sessions, as well as professional tools such as tensiometers, spoke rolling machines, and calibration equipment.

Loyalty program and B2B accounts

Every customer automatically participates in the store’s loyalty program. With every purchase, you collect points which can later be exchanged for discounts on future orders. I encourage you to read more about it in the Terms & Conditions, section 11.

If you run a business, please provide your VAT number during registration. Business accounts are created in B2B format, which includes an additional discount on all products.

Card payments, bank transfer and PayPal payments are fully supported.
